Lobera, EC

A systemic herbicide containing quizalofop-p-ethyl as active ingredient for the control of monocotyledonous annual and perennial weeds in oilseed rape

Active substance: Quizalofop-p-ethyl, 150 g/l

Chemical class: 2-(4-aryloxyphenoxy) propionic acid derivatives

Preparative form: Concentrated emulsion (CE)

Packaging: 5 l

Mechanism of action

The herbicide rapidly penetrates the surface of the weed's leaves and travels to the growing points, roots and rhizomes. The preparation interrupts the photosynthesis process, the plants stop growing, acquire an anthocyanin coloration, wilt and die.

Monocotyledonous annual and perennial weeds, including straw cereal weeds

0,7-1,0

Spraying seedlings at any stage of crop development at a weed height of 10-15 cm

Advantages

  • Ideally solves the problem of weed control in cereals.
  • Processing is carried out regardless of the development stage of the crop.
  • Effective against low resistance in cereals.
  • Destroys the underground part of cereal weeds and prevents regrowth.
  • High activity over a wide temperature range.
  • No phytotoxic effect on crop plants and subsequent crops in crop rotation.

PROPERTIES

Lobera kills annual weeds (foxtail (species), wild oats, millet, wheatgrass (species), barley seed, millet, rye, wheat) and perennial cereal weeds (wheatgrass, wheatgrass, wheatgrass and others). When applying, it should be taken into account that complete weed death occurs no earlier than 7-10 days for annual cereals and 14-20 days for perennial cereals. But during this time weeds do not grow and suppress the crop. If, after the use of the preparation, warm and dry weather sets in, the effect of the herbicide slows down, the weeds no longer grow and do not suppress the crop and, when weather conditions are favourable, they begin to die.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

The most effective period for the use of Lobera graminicide is the period of active weed growth in warm weather and sufficient soil moisture. It is better to spray in the presence of 2-3 leaves on annual plants and 4-6 leaves on perennials (with a plant height of 10-15 cm). Under such conditions, the recommended minimum consumption rules of the preparation apply. In case of application of the herbicide at later stages of weed development, it is necessary to increase the application rate.

The solution of the preparation should be used within a few hours after preparation. Lobera preparation can be used in mixtures with other plant protection products (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides), except for strongly alkaline ones. In order to destroy the seedlings of grass crops, you should use preparation rules, which are recommended for the destruction of perennial weed species. The most sensitive stages to graminicides of winter wheat are 1-2 leaves, in barley - the beginning of tillering (4-6 leaves).
