Spraying of crops from phase 2 - 3 to 5 - 7 leaves of the crop and in the early growth phases (2 - 4 leaves) of weeds

0,25 - 0,35

Advantages

  • suppression of a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds as well as some annual grasses (early growth stages)
  • wide application window, up to 6 - 8 crop leaves
  • high speed of action
  • control of the second "wave" of weeds through action on the soil
  • high crop selectivity
  • excellent compatibility with other herbicides in tank mixtures.

Limitations on crop rotation:

If maize must be reseeded (due to drought, dampness, frost) treated with Egis, maize can be sown immediately.

In autumn of the same year, winter wheat, barley, oilseed rape and winter rape can be sown if deep ploughing has been done.

The following spring, after deep ploughing, sunflowers, sorghum, soybeans, potatoes, tobacco and cotton can be sown. Sensitive crops such as sugar beet, beetroot, fodder beet, peas and beans can be sown 24 months after application of mesotrione. The duration of the post-emergence period depends on soil type, cultivation technique, rainfall and a number of other factors. In case of doubt, biological testing is recommended before sowing susceptible crops.
