Mechanism of action
Starane Premium 330 EC is a systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves of target weeds, then migrates in the phloem to the plant meristems causing a typical auxin reaction within hours of application, manifested by leaf twisting, yellowing and growth arrest.
The active substance fluroxypyr belongs to the synthetic auxin family (group O according to the HRAC classification).
Starane Premium 330 EC controls susceptible weed species, which emerged at the time of herbicide application during the growing season.
No restrictions for crops in the set-aside.
Fluroxypyr, the active substance of Starane Premium 330 EC herbicide is subject to rapid biological degradation in the soil and poses no phytotoxicity risk to succeeding crops in rotation.
