POST-EMERGENT SYSTEMIC HERBICIDE FOR THE CONTROL OF ANNUAL AND PERENNIAL DICOTYLEDONOUS WEEDS, SUNFLOWER AND OILSEED RAPE IN WHEAT AND MAIZE CROPS
Active substance: 452 g/l 2,4-D (2-ethyl hexyl ester) + 6.25 g/l florasulam
Chemical class: Aryloxyalkanecarboxylic acids and triazolpyrimidines
Preparative form: Suspension emulsion (SE)
Packaging: 5 l
Mechanism of action
Prima SE is a systemic herbicide with two active substances with different mechanisms of action, providing a high level of control of sensitive weeds, including hard-to-control weeds such as turmeric, chamomile, rosemary, rocin and others.
Florasulam belongs to the triazolpyrimidine group, which inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), an essential enzyme in amino acid biosynthesis, as do leucine, isoleucine and valine. Florasulam inactivates the enzyme acetolactate synthase, thus preventing amino acid synthesis.
2,4-D - auxin-type herbicide, which blocks the action of plant growth hormones (auxins), the mechanism of action is based on the deregulation of growth processes in susceptible weed cells.
