DetailsIt is calendar winter outside, but the lack of snow on the fields that are sown with wheat, winter barley and rape and on those that will be sown in a few months, is somewhat alarming. But as practice shows: the annual average rainfall amounts for the year are levelling out, and should be expected in any case, which can significantly tweak the spring field work of agri-businesses.
This year, therefore, will be no exception in the case of unique solutions and agronomic practices in crop cultivation, taking into account weather and climatic conditions.
So, whatever whims we are presented with by the weather, we must move on and get ready for spring.
As far as plant protection is concerned, the main direction of increasing production of grain and other agricultural products remains the cleanliness of fields from undesirable vegetation, i.e., weeds.
And this is understandable: no one cancelled the struggle for moisture, mineral nutrition and a place in the sun.
A lot has been achieved in this area, but the problem of weed control is still one of the most important ones for agricultural producers.
It has long been established that weeds cause far more crop losses than pests and diseases combined, according to scientists.
As an example, global wheat grain losses from weed infestation amount to more than 34 million tonnes per year.
Weeds tend to be significantly more active and capable of absorbing nutrients from soil and fertilisers than cultivated plants, i.e. more aggressive.
As for chemical weeding herbicides for grain crops, there are many herbicides available on the NWR market.
However, farm managers prefer really effective preparations with a better price-quality ratio.
On one hand, they request a preparation with high efficiency for controlling a wide spectrum of annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds growing in their fields, plus a preparation with full safety for crop rotation in future crops on these fields.
On the other hand, the preparation should be reasonably priced and available in stock.
The company "IMEXAGRO" offers such products in its portfolio, as well as highly qualified support of regional managers in each area and the availability of products in regional warehouses, which is proved by many years of work.
If the wheat and barley crops have annual dicotyledonous weeds - white meadowsweet, species of helleborine, a number of crucifers, ragweed, sagebrush, common cocklebur, oilseed shrubbery, as well as emerging solanula, Polygonum, Polygonum species, poppies, yellow thistle, red thistle, or many others, the situation becomes critical.
Considering such needs of farmers, "IMEXAGRO" company offers a highly effective herbicide with systemic action - STATUS GRAND, WDG.
This preparation combines active substances of different chemical classes: tribenuron-methyl (500 g/kg), which belongs to sulfonylurea class, and florasulam (104 g/kg) - to triazolpyrimidines.
The product has a very wide application window (up to the "flag leaf" of the crop), which allows for flexible use depending on weather conditions.
Due to the systemic action of herbicide STATUS GRAND quickly penetrates into the weed plants, a few hours after treatment the growth stops, then it gets chlorotic colour and dies off points of growth.
Remember that the rate of suppression depends on the weather conditions at the time of treatment (temperature, humidity) and the phase of weed development.
For controlling annual dicotyledonous and perennial root weeds in the early stages of growth, the recommended rate of the drug is within 35-40 g / ha.
The maximum rate (40 g/ha) is advisable to use at high weed infestation with overgrown weeds with the addition of surfactant (Bioton, 0.1 l/ha), at optimum air temperature in the range +4 ... +25 ° C.
The results of STATUS GRAND application showed a fast action on more than 100 species of weeds, including volunteer sunflower and rapeseed in both classic forms, Clearfield and Express technologies.
After treatment there is a complete cessation of weed growth, curling, chlorosis and necrosis of leaves, death of growing points and complete destruction of plants within 14-21 days.
The different chemical classes of the active substances of the preparation minimize the emergence of resistance in weeds and do not provide restrictions in the crop rotation, as there is no after-effect.
STATUS GRAND is strong where other herbicides are powerless!
The key to the high demand for the next drug by "IMEXAGRO" - STATUS FLO, SL and large volumes of its application were its wide range of action, excellent efficiency, tolerance to crops and affordable price.
STATUS FLO is a systemic herbicide against annual dicotyledons, including those resistant to 2,4-D and MCPA, and perennial root weeds with two highly effective active ingredients.
So, the herbicide STATUS FLO contains hormonal active substance - 2-methylhexyl ether 2,4-D, 418 g / l, which is effective against ragweed wormwood, species Marigold, milk thistle, plantain, buttercup, geranium, common broadleaf, common carminative, dandelion woolly, wormwood, curly thistle, prickly tartar, and Florasulam with increased rate, 12 g/l (refers to triazolopyrimidines), enhances control of bryophytes to the phase of 14 whorls, species of mustard, bittercress, thyrene, poppy, chamomile, chickpea, common starwort, crucifers and many others.
Active ingredients of the product have systemic action, quickly penetrate into weed plants and stop their growth.
Its advantages are also complete control of more than 150 weed species, resistant forms of sunflower and rapeseed, as well as complete absence of aftereffects and safety in crop rotation.
Excellent proved to be tank mixtures with STATUS FLO for insurance application on corn crops, as well as before sowing row crops similar to the action of glyphosate (if the main spectrum are dicotyledonous weeds).
Working rates of the preparation usage on grain crops are 300 - 500 ml/ha, in a phase of tillering before 1 - 2 internodes of culture.
The maximum application rate of 0,5 ml/ha should be used in case of initial high weed infestation, domination in crops of perennial root weeds and in presence of overgrown weeds (Chamomile primrose 15-25 cm in height, chamomile till 25 cm, milk thistle till budding).
The best effect is achieved by treatment of annual dicotyledonous weeds in 3 to 5 leaf phases, perennial - from the rosette phase till stem formation.
The optimum temperature of application is +8 to +25 °C, when the active growth of weeds occurs.
So, by qualitatively controlling the weeds with minimal financial costs at the beginning of the development of cultivated plants, you give the best start to your future harvest!
