FANDAGA: a new barley variety with excellent quality characteristics and high yields!

Dr. Lissy Kuntze (head of breeding at Nordsaat, shareholder of SAATEN-UNION) points out that the excellent quality of this "high FAN" variety is confirmed by the CBMO (French Malting and Brewing Committee) approval in 2018, the "Heineken Green List" status and the general recognition by AB Inbev.
 
FANDAGA two-row spring barley:
- Medium-late with uniform maturity, which allows greater flexibility in sowing.
- below average plant height with excellent fall resistance
- high disease and nematode resistance (races 1 and 2)
- high yield (over 7 t/ha) and excellent grain composition (≥ 2.5 mm - 95.4%)
- exceptional harvest results in the 2022 season in Moldova (over 6 tons/ha)
