Delegate, WDG

Delegate, WDG

Selective insecticide for the control of larvae of lepidoptera (caterpillars), miners, thrips and honey fleas in fruit growing.

Active substance: spinetoram, 250 g/kg

Chemical class: Spinozine, group 5 (IRAC)

Preparative form: Water dispersible granules (WDG)

Packed: 3 kg

Mechanism of action

  • Insecticide in the form of water-dispersible granules (WG), which act by contact and ingestion.
  • Spinetoram, the active ingredient in DelegateTM insecticide, affects the nervous system of insects, triggering a chaotic transmission of nerve impulses at the neuronal level.
  • It stops feeding processes and destroys target insects. No other product class affects the insect nervous system with the same mode of action as DelegateTM.
  • Spinetoram does not interact with known sites of action of other insecticide classes.
  • Because of its unique mode of action, DelegateTM is an excellent product for use in an Integrated Pest Management system. The spinosyn family of chemicals, spinetoram (DelegateTM), and spinosad, are the only Group 5 insecticides on the fruit and vegetable market.
  • DelegateTM has a unique mode of action that controls insects in two ways: firstly, by ingestion and secondly by contact, providing rapid control and long-lasting residual activity. DelegateTM has very good translaminar mobility and provides total protection of the foliar apparatus in fruit trees.
